Yep. Wendell has confirmed some more news on Twitter.
I am having a mixed reaction on this one. Stat's in my opinion have lead to people playing a certain way. No with more detailed stats.. I don't know.

Mixed feelings.

How do you guys all feel about this?

I think that the stat logging is what killed the new games. Why not keep it how it was where you couldn't see anyone's stuff at all?

Maybe keep stat tracking for weapons, but hide stats from everyone that isnt a friend.
